Lynn Arrington and David Watkins, each seeking their architectural fortune (a job), escaped the bright lights of Kansas State University a year apart to settle in the Arizona desert. They met and worked together at the same large Phoenix based firm for 16 years before starting Arrington Watkins Architects, LLC in 1994. When they started the firm, Lynn and David had the unique opportunity to think through all of their previous experiences and create a clear vision of what they wanted this firm to be: It’s worked pretty darn well and still guides us today.
